The Governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Lunchtime Organisers to join our school. At St Augustine’s CE Primary School we are extremely proud of the quality of our lunchtime provision and of the high standards and commitment of our existing team. We are currently looking to appoint another Lunchtime Organiser to join the team and to contribute towards the smooth running of the school meals/packed lunch provision and of the supervision of children at play.

The successful applicant will work 6.25 hours a week and the hours will be Monday to Friday between 11.30am and 1.30pm.


The successful applicants must be able to:

•Build excellent relationships with children

•Work well as part of our existing team, committed to the welfare of our children

•Be willing to develop and participate in playground and other outdoor learning games with our children.

•Look after the social, emotional and health aspects of all children.

In addition, they must possess a willingness to participate in a range of training opportunities to learn and develop the skills essential for the role.

St Augustine’s is a small vibrant, multicultural, inner city school with 219 pupils on roll. It is a 1 form entry school with a 30 place Nursery. Attainment is a high priority with a dedicated team of teachers and support staff who provide personalised learning programmes to enable each individual child to reach their full potential.

The governors of St Augustine’s CE Primary School wish to appoint an Admin Officer to work alongside the School Business Manager in our busy school office. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent levels of literacy, numeracy and ICT skills, have an excellent telephone manner and organisational skills. Experience of working in a school office and knowledge of pupil information and financial systems is desirable but not essential as training will be  given.


The ideal candidate must be able to use their initiative and have excellent time management. They must be able to pay attention to detail and provide accurate reports through the use of the school’s data collection systems. They must be able to support and facilitate the work of others, be flexible and adaptable, be able to work under pressure and be able to work to deadlines. 


The successful candidate must be able to form successful relationships with other staff, parents and the wider community. 

Duties will include Reception and general office duties – telephone, photocopying, lots of typing, emailing, etc. A pleasant,  patient demeanor together with an ability to work at speed, accurately, under pressure and keep smiling is essential. 
A sense of humour is essential.


The post is for 20 hours a week, term time only + additional days for training and development, working each morning, Monday to Friday.
The post is a Grade 3 Point 4 Salary £19,649 (pro rata -ACTUAL SALARY £9,626)

appoint a Catering Assistant to join the team and to contribute towards the smooth running of the school meals/packed lunch provision and of the supervision of children at play.
The successful applicant will work 15 hours a week and the hours will be Monday to Friday between 10.30am and 1.30pm.
The pro-rata salary for the 15 hours per week term time only position would be £7242 per annum

The successful applicants must be able to:

•Build excellent relationships with children
•Work well as part of our existing team, committed to the welfare  of our children 
•Be willing to support our provision of a healthy and nutritious lunch.
•Look after the social, emotional and health aspects of all children. 

The role will require a food hygiene certificate - this can be completed as part of the induction training. 
In addition, they must possess a willingness to participate in a range of training opportunities to learn and develop the skills  essential for the role
