Taekwondo
Year 3 are doing Taekwondo this year, I have to say they absolutely love every minute of it, it's their chance to learn self defence, discipline, new skills while getting fit along the way. We have amazing taekwondo kits for all of them to wear which really gets them into the art and feel of the martial art, by the end of this year they will have mastered white belt and achieve a yellow belt!

Year 3 drumming
This year, we are very lucky to have an amazing African drumming teacher come in to teach our class how to play the African drums, we have been so grateful to take part each week, learning new ways to play to the beat. Hopefully, when year 3 are confident enough, they will put on a drumming show for the rest of the school.

Take over day!
Today was a special day for the whole school where everyone got the chance to teach a lesson of their own. A couple of the year 6's were chosen for head teacher and deputy, and our lovely year 3's taught their class music, PE and art. The children became responsible for planning their sessions and delivering them, they worked as a team to make these lessons come to life and inspire others to do the same.
