Caring For Our World Day  

On Thursday 5th of June it was 'Caring for Our World Day' in school.

The children got to split into different groups with children from other classes.

They then took part in different sessions throughout the day to learn more about things

we could do to help our planet.

The older children did a fantastic job of supporting the younger children

in their groups and helping them with the activities.

Everyone got to make bird feeders, seed bombs, planted some sunflowers

and got to find out a little about how bees help us.

They also made some bug hotels out in the school grounds and made world pledge mobiles.

Biffa came to work with groups of children and helped learn out more about recycling.

Everyone had a fantastic day and learned lots about caring for the world.
