Today some of the pupil voice ambassadors dropped off all the shoes we had collected in school to give to unicef's shoe share.
The Shoe Share campaign collects old or unwanted shoes. These old or unwanted shoes are then sent for re-use. The money raised will go to UNICEF UK who will then use it towards education programmes' round the world.

We have been talking to the children about Christmas being about giving rather than getting and as such the children at school have been trying to collect some donations for families that may not have as much as they do this Christmas.
The pupil voice groups sent out a letter asking for donation.
Some of the children then took these donations to the local food bank at the Lalley Centre,
where they were gratefully received and will give some much needed help to families.
