Sustainability

Nursery

In Nursery we always try to be kind and helpful. We chose to sponsor a guide dog puppy so it can learn to help someone and change their life.

Reception

Reception have decided to support the charity WWF. We  think that it is very important to make sure all animals and creatures are looked after. We think they should always have a home, food, water and friends.

Year 1

Year 1 have chosen this charity because it is in Manchester and it gives care to young children who are ill and helps them to have fun. It also supports their families whilst they are going through difficult times.

Year 2

Year 2 have chosen to support the charity Water Aid because we do not think that it is fair that we have clean water and toilets and people in other countries don't.

Year 3

Year 3 chose UNICEF because all of us have rights. UNICEF try to make sure everyone in the world receives those rights. They try to make sure everyone has a safe home and they help children go to school and have access to clean water.

Year 4

In Year 4, we know how important family is and how in a family, everyone looks out for each other. That's why we chose Rainbow Trust as our charity to donate money to each month. This is because we wanted to be able to give long lasting support to families who may have a child with a life threatening of terminal illness.

Year 5

Year 5 chose to support the Make a Wish charity because they wanted children who were terminally ill to have the chance to experience at least one amazing thing in their life. We also thought about the lasting effect this would have in creating special memories in their families too.

In the words of Auggie from wonder,

"Everyone should have a standing ovation at least once i their life because we all overcometh the world"

Year 6

Year 6 have chosen to support the NSPCC. They felt that this charity was working towards supporting many of the rights from the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, especially those right relating to safety and well-being.
